Amazon strengthens focus on digitizing small businesses, boosting exports, and job creation
Amazon reinforced its commitment to India's growth by expanding the Smbhav Venture Fund and boosting exports. The company has earmarked $120 million (approximately Rs 1,000 crore) from its Smbhav Venture Fund to invest in manufacturing startups, aiming to create thousands of jobs while meeting domestic and global demands. It announced new logistics solutions and pledged to achieve $80 billion in cumulative exports by 2030, exceeding its initial target of digitizing 10 million MSMEs.
